A fixed LED installation is not suitable for every event or location. Event companies need the flexibility to use their equipment at different venues without sacrificing screen size or operational efficiency.
With its 66 m² screen surface, this Creacar construction provides the scale required for major events while remaining transportable and reusable. The complete structure was developed around the operational requirements of One LED Solution and adapted for use within the Canadian/US event market.
Compared with a dedicated LED trailer, a container-based construction offers several practical and visual advantages. Once unloaded from its transport chassis, the container can be positioned much closer to the ground. Without a visible trailer chassis, wheels or towing vehicle underneath the construction, the complete installation has a cleaner and more integrated appearance at an event. The lower position can also improve the relationship between the screen and its surroundings.
An important advantage of this Creacar container is its integrated support leg system. The container can raise itself from the container chassis, allowing the chassis to drive away once the construction is fully supported. No crane is required to unload, position or collect the container. This simplifies the logistics and eliminates the need to arrange additional lifting equipment at every location.
The same support legs provide a stable foundation during operation. When the event is finished, the container can raise itself to the required transport height so that a suitable container chassis can be positioned underneath it again.
The construction is therefore not permanently connected to one dedicated trailer chassis. Different transport companies or vehicles equipped with a suitable container chassis can transport it when required.
The container-based design also creates possibilities for intermodal transport. Depending on the available infrastructure and transport arrangements, the construction can be transported by road, ship and potentially by rail. This flexibility is particularly valuable for an internationally operating event company.
The mobile LED container was engineered, constructed and assembled at Creacar’s production facility in Bilzen-Hoeselt, Belgium.
Before departure, the construction and its different systems were checked and prepared for transport across the Atlantic. Completing the engineering and production in-house allowed Creacar to adapt the construction to the specific requirements of One LED Solution.
For this project, the final installation of the LED screen took place after the container arrived in Canada. Creacar assisted with the final assembly and provided practical training to the One LED Solution team, enabling its operators to set up and operate the construction independently.
Shortly after the installation and training were completed, the new 66 m² mobile LED container was already used for its first event at the Formula 1 circuit in Montréal.
Seeing the construction operational at such an iconic location marked an important first milestone for the project. It also demonstrated how quickly the new solution became part of One LED Solution’s event operations.
The handover of a construction does not mark the end of Creacar’s involvement. Following the installation and training in Canada, we remain in close telephone contact with One LED Solution. Questions can be discussed directly, and technical assistance remains available whenever required.
This continued contact is particularly valuable for a custom-built construction. It allows us to support the customer during actual use and ensures that our technical knowledge remains accessible, despite the distance between Belgium and Canada.
From the initial design and production in Bilzen-Hoeselt to international transport, project-specific installation, practical training and continued support, this 66 m² mobile LED container demonstrates Creacar’s commitment to flexibility, customisation and long-term service.
Imagine it. Build it.
